Loose comfortable clothes -leggings, joggers, T shirt, fleece. Pilates is done in bare feet or socks (preferably non slip?)
I encourage members to bring their own mat, but its not always necessary as I can provide. Bring a small cushion or towel if preferred and water (optional)
No not if you are coming to a beginners or general class. Its important to have a FIRM GRASP OF THE TECHNIQUES before attending an Improvers.

You must let me know prior to taking part so I am aware of any contraindications and can modify them for you.
The exercises and format generally vary from week to week but we do revisit the exercises in other ways with the emphasis on alignment, breathing and core.
Its important to have a warm but not overly heated room as gentle warmth is conducive to joints and muscles. Cold can result in cramp.
